THE BENEFITS OF BLACK SEED OIL

My dad has been raving about black seed oil for over a year. Although he knows that I am aware of the benefits, he is also aware that I do not take it in my daily routine as a supplement. After much stalking from him, I finally jumped on the wagon and tried this out for myself. I have not used it for a long period, so there is not a huge update at this time, but here is what I do know.

THE TASTE IS SUPER GROSS.

The taste is gross. It is a strong spicy herbal taste with a lingering after taste. So, if you are taking it by itself, it is best to have a smoothie, water or kombucha (which happens to be the best drink that I chase it with). I have also tried to take use it in my coffee because I use spices in my coffee, but it still overpowers the tumeric and ginger. Next, I will try to mix it with honey to help with the taste, because it’s totally ok to have a spoonful of organic honey per day.

Regardless of the taste, I still consume this because I want to reap the benefits of this oil that is medicine to our mind and body. So, let’s dig into some of the benefits of this “magic” oil.

Black seed oil is an herbal ingredient derived from the plant Nigella sativa, which is native to Eastern Europe and Western Asia.

Known for its powerful medicinal properties, black seed oil is a natural remedy that people use to treat a [1] wide range of conditions. Some of these conditions include:

  • it is HUGE for supporting weight loss, a

You can cook with this oil as well. This is something that I may include in a ravioli dish or with a vegetable medley. One thing to keep in mind is it is not best to use this more than 3 months. When using this as a daily supplement, it is best to check with a western doctor to ensure that it is ok to take with all prescribed pills that you may take. Always make sure that you are not allergic to the ingredients. Be responsible when adding anything new to your daily intake!

BE.WELL.
