DAILY SPICE CONSUMPTION

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of consuming spices on a daily? To behonest, the first thing that came to my mind is “very hot food”. Of course you can add spices to your food but spices can be used as a daily supplement.

The best way to consume spices is in a liquid form, but they can also be consumed in a capsule.

I have a mixture that I sometimes carry with me of tumeric, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg (1 teaspoon each) of each spice. I carry this if I know I will go to a coffee shop later in the day OR if I am traveling and I know I will have coffee or make tea at my destination.

WAYS I CONSUME SPICES

  • I use it in tea; check out my recipe for year around tea and golden tea

  • my coffee

  • cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks

  • matcha tea

  • I have also used it as a hot. A little water in a shot glass. WHEW!

The benefits of these spices are great! They help with digestion, inflammation, blood flow and circulation, the immune system and so much more! Spices are great to use when preparing food, but it is also beneficial to our health as well; without the food.
