ROASTED CAULIFLOWER

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 head of cauliflower

    LIST OF SPICES

  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin

  • 1 teaspoon of chil powder

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 cup of olive oil - you may need a little more

PREP

  • Remove leaves from cauliflower

  • Add the spices and olive oil together to make a paste - the PASTE is the key!!

  • Preheat the oven on 350

DIRECTIONS

  • When boiling the cauliflower, boil it on each side for about 5-7 minutes until SOFT. (the sides are the top and bottom of the cauliflower head)

  • Once the cauliflower is soft remove it and let it cool for about 5 minutes

  • Move the cauliflower over to a pan. If you want to use parchment paper to line the pan you can.

  • TIP: I take the tip of a sharp knife and cut little slivers in the cauliflower so my paste can go inbetween

  • Take your paste sauce and cover the ENTIRE head of cauliflower. If you cut slivers you can take a teaspoon with your paste to make sure that goes in the cauliflower.
