Surrendering Spirit + ENERGY

Have you ever had someone tell you to “surrender and release it”? If you don’t understand truly what they mean it can be frustrating because you can’t just let go of current problems that need to be solved right away. Surrendering is an energy that is hard to tap into but once you do your life is forever changed.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?

It is difficult to explain what the surrender spirit and energy feels like because everyone has their own interpretation. Everyone has their own connection of that specific spirit and energy.

To be personally honest (and please understand this may differ) when you surrender it almost feels like your back is against the wall. You release ego and control and you have a true understanding that you are letting the situation go so that the highest and best can take place. There are no rituals or candles that you need to light to do this. It is a true connection with God that you are taking yourself out of the equation so that HE can take over.

You won’t hear the trumpets blowing (although that would be absolutely amazing) but when you truly release, something powerful does happen. When the surrender energy is connected to the higher source, God, The Holy Spirit, Jesus, Your Guides and Angels quickly come in on your behalf. And when it happens you will be absolutely mind blown.

This energy is the most toxicating energy. Once it happens you want it to happen over and over again. The hard part is letting go of your ego and control in wanting things to happen the way that you want. You have to truly let go so that you can open up the channel to God for something to happen for your highest and best.

STORY TIME: “My flight was delayed over an hour and by the time I landed the car rental places had closed. I’ll never forget that before I left for the airport I got a call on the way that the rental car I booked was canceled because something was mechanically wrong with it. I tried to stay positive but when we landed in Texas it was past midnight. There was NO ONE that helped my son and I. Everyone was too far away and my friend that lived in Houston had left for New Orleans earlier that day. I was stranded at another car rental place that closed. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I remember tears falling down my eyes because I realized that I might have to walk back to the airport in darkness in downtown Houston with my son toting our suitcases. I remember feeling afraid because the area was not the best area at all. As tears started to fall down my face I let everything inside me go and I remember whispering “God, please help me.” and I also called on the Holy Spirit. As soon I made up my mind that I was going to make that walk back to the airport so we could at least sleep at the baggage claim area until the morning, I sat down on the curb first. Something inside me told me to use his #UBER app to see if we could possibly get an Uber that would drive us almost 2 hours away. And guess what? Someone grabbed the ride! We ran down to an area to ensure we would be picked up and as soon as the Uber driver got out the car I said “I’m so sorry” and he said “It’s ok, I know you are stranded and need a ride to your destination”. This guy had NO CLUE that we were stranded. I felt that it was truly a divine moment. He drove us all the way to our destination! Thank you, God!

It’s so much power in letting go and flowing with the river. Roll with the river and don’t fight with the rocks.” As much as we want to have control over our life, we don’t. When everything don’t go as planned, don’t stress . This is apart of your journey

You see, my back was against the wall and I realized that I could not control my scenario. I released and opened the channel for my highest and best to happen and it did immediately. In that situation, I was trying to control the narrative. We were stranded and I was trying to figure out (on my own) how to get us out of the situation. But once I gave up trying to control everything (because clearly I was thinking out of pure emotions so I was not thinking clearly) I was instantly helped! Just telling that story again makes me feel such extreme gratitude.

It is such a humbling experience to tap into this energy because you realize how much your ego and control to get what you want is not always for your highest and best. It is so hard to let go, especially when something is happening that you can’t control. Our human nature is to take control so that we can have a happy outcome and our ego comes into play when our feelings are hurt or we are offended by something. We try to take control again to make our bruised egos feel better. However, once you experience the surrendering spirit and that energy channel you open up an entire new understanding of how connected we truly are to heaven.

WORKING WITH SURRENDER ENERGY

Start working with your surrender energy. In the video below it is a guided meditation on surrendering and letting go of control by Jason Stephensen. When you start to work with that energy, you learn what it feels like. If you are in a situation that you need to surrender, working with this energy can help you in your time of need.
